Vision
The Stillaguamish Valley Learning Center envisions a partnership between home, school, and the community where each is an active participant in student-centered academic and social-emotional growth.

Mission
With student learning as our primary focus, we are committed to:

  • A unique instructional design where individual student needs are met
  • Project and Problem-Based learning opportunities to promote deep
    understanding by means of rich tasks
  • Long-term relationships with families to encourage life-long learners

The Stillaguamish Valley Learning Center (SVLC) is a public school offering alternative learning programs, including online and onsite kindergarten through eighth grade. For grades 9-12, we offer an online option through the Arlington Online Program.

2024-25 Key Dates
- The Stillaguamish Valley Learning Center school office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Back to school family conferences start Sept. 4
- Sept. 4, First Day of School

2024-25 Back to School Information
We are busy preparing for our SVLC students to start their new school year!
  • Our teachers are back onsite beginning Tuesday, Aug. 27. Please watch your email for updates - teachers will be reaching out to set up Back to School Meetings with families for Sept. 4, 5, 6, and 9th.

  • Our AOP students will begin on Sept. 4th, or after their Back to School meeting.

  • Our Onsite students will begin classes on Sept. 10th.

  • Before attending classes, including AOP students, all students must complete an initial meeting with their consultant. Please be sure to schedule a meeting as soon as possible.

We have some new teachers at SVLC this year, and some of our teachers from last year have changed their teaching assignments.

Please call SVLC @ 360-618-6440 and choose 1 for the attendance line. Leave a message or send a note with your child the following school day.

School Hours 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Transportation
Transportation is available for grades 6-8 to SVLC.
